Byte-oriented compatibility primitives with fallible key generation and sealed-box operations.
Hash compatibility
This implementation hashes with Blake2b512 and truncates to 32 bytes. weave-crypto uses Blake2s256. Those algorithms produce different values; do not mix their content, namespace or discovery hashes without an explicit compatibility protocol.
