Search and Perceive

Workflow and current contract

search(query, top, engine) returns structured results. The built-in implementation supports DuckDuckGo (duckduckgo or ddg); other strings warn and fall back to DuckDuckGo. The CLI's engine argument does not add other search providers.

perceive(input) requires an existing local filesystem path and dispatches through the local perception backend; it does not fetch a URL. perceive_with_backend accepts a chosen backend; detect_type and mime_for_ext classify extensions. Classification is separate from successful content interpretation, and backend failures must be handled by the caller.
