Deterministic ChaCha20-Poly1305 blob encryption and randomized XChaCha20-Poly1305 private metadata envelopes.
Purpose and workflow
Content and private metadata are encrypted before persistence. The package exposes key and envelope primitives, opaque identifiers and validation. Recipient authorization/key delivery belongs to the calling layer. Losing the required identity/key material can make stored ciphertext unrecoverable.
